Sri Lanka’s Galle Face Hotel is reviving interest in Pimm's, a British liqueur, to which it is claiming links dating back to the island's colonial era, launching. The first ever crate of Pimm’s to arrive in Sri Lanka was shipped to the Galle Face Hotel, the firm said. "This light drink is a treat for the warm Sri Lankan climate," General Manager Robert Hauck said in a statement. "Galle Face Hotel’s connection with Pimm’s dates back to the colonial times and Pimm’s O’ Clock aims to revive the history and fun behind this light, summery drink."
